Beauty and strength, together as nature intended it. A porcelain tile floor is the ultimate symbol of natural beauty you can use to transform your home. If you're looking for a stylish tile for all seasons, then look no further than a porcelain body tile.  Because of its impervious construction, porcelain can withstand just about anything, in high traffic areas to those areas exposed to the elements. such as the back patio. Whether you choose ceramic or porcelain, indoors or outdoors, The Floor Company has the flooring that fits your needs.

Clean Your Tile On A Regular Basis

These are simple instructions that everyone with Tile should follow to keep their tile and grout clean for years to come.

Overall Tile Cleaning on a Regular Basis:

When cleaning ceramic tile floors, you don't have to worry about wax or floor finish. You just need to sweep and mop them on a regular basis, and they'll stay clean and shiny. They can be mopped with just clear water, or you can add just a dash of liquid dish soap. Make sure you change the water as soon as it gets cloudy. Keep in mind that too much soap or dirty water will make the floors dull and/or sticky. Don't use scrub pads on ceramic tile floors, or you could scratch them.

Cleaning Grout:

The cement concoction connecting tiles (grout) is probably the hardest part of cleaning a tiled floor. That's why it is important to cover those seams with a quality grout sealer about every six months or so. Sandpaper, pencil erasers, and a solution of bleach and water are all recommended to do the trick as well. Bathtubs and showers might need a commercial bathroom or all-purpose cleaner to break down the layers of soap and lime.
